Art and Augmented Reality: Learn the creative potential of augmented reality. Participants will collect and take pictures of their choice. Then, participants will learn how to apply augmented reality to their two dimensional creations. Open to all levels of experience.
Metalworks: Create and decorate objects such as placemats and charity box.
Pirke Avot + Art, Learn about this ancient text which is still relevant today, and create your own book of ethics in a hands-on art project. Learn selections from Pirkei Avot, a compilation of sayings in which the rabbis talk in depth about interpersonal relationships. Add contemporary teachings that you’d like to include in your own book of ethics, which you’ll create and illustrate. Learn a number of book making techniques and produce one final bound book that will illustrate your ethical teachings.
Sukkah Objects, Create objects with Ushpizin / Ushpizot, based on biblical persons, and on relatives who you won’t see during Sukkot, but would like to invite in.
Untrivial Pursuit: the Israel Edition, Create an artistic game board about Israel.
Bar / Bat Mitzvah Art Project, Students create artwork based on their Parsha (=Torah portion).
The Jewish Lifecycle: Learn about the uniqueness of Jewish rituals. Create an object using different art techniques to illustrate the richness and rituals of the Jewish lifecycle.
Mezuzah – decorated mezuzah covers that reflect your interests, and learn about the history of the mezuzah.
Afikomen bag – Create an afikomen bag for Passover, decorate this, and learn about the Pesach holiday.

Passover / Freedom Workshop. Work with soft metal materials to explore interpretations of freedom. Explore perspectives both Jewish and general, including the Passover experience and world events of the past decade.
Amulet painting: paint / decorate an amulet shape, while learning about its history and customs.
Hebrews & Hip-hop: make your own amulet “bling”, and learn about the history of Jewish amulets.
Creation: Investigate creative & biblical themes of the 7 days of Creation. Develop your own component first on paper and then work directly on canvas.
